The Cantonment branch of the Bamboo and Ratan Workers Association has appealed to the Osu Stool Lands Authority to be lenient and extend the three-day ultimatum given them to vacate the land on which they work.

The said land, located near the Flair Kumodzi Hospital at Cantonment, The Moment has learnt, has been a subject of litigation between the Osu Stool Lands and the Labadi Stool Lands for some time now. Information gathered by The Moment reveals that some poeple from the Osu Traditional Council yesterday stormed the area and gave the Bamboo and Ratan Workers Association three days to vacate the land. But the workers in an interview with The Moment appealed to the Osu Traditional Authority to give them enough time to look for a place to relocate.

They have therefore appealed to the Gvernment to come to their aid by relocating them to save their situation from any inconvenience in the future.
