Rafinha, who joined Barcelona at the youth ranks at age 13 was promoted to the Barça B squad in 2011.

He was loaned to Celta de Vigo in 2013 where he played under Coach Luis Enrique, and returned to Barcelona after his loan spell, this time as a fully-fledged first team player.

Rafinha became a regular player for Barcelona and helped them win the treble last season.

Unfortunately, Rafinha suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament during a 1-1 away draw at Roma in a Champions league fixture in September 2015.

The 22-year-old left the game on a stretcher following a heavy challenge from Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Rafinha is currently out of action for six months. He fights to regain fitness.
