Ray Donovan star Steven Bauer, who has long struggled with addiction issues and been in and out of rehab, has voluntarily checked into a Malibu treatment center, In Touch magazine is exclusive reporting.
His rep confirmed the news to In Touch saying, “In recent months, he realized he was starting to drink more than he was comfortable with. He preemptively wanted to take care of the issue. But in no uncertain terms does he take drugs, nor is he being treated for a drug-related addiction.”
A source tells In Touch, “He loves working on Ray Donovan and wants everyone to know he’s back on the straight and narrow.”
He has tons of support. “His mom, son Alexander [with Melanie Griffith] and girlfriend, Lyda Loudon, have been there for him.”
“He’s serious about staying sober,” the source adds.
