Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has criticized former President John Dramani Mahama, claiming he only fulfilled 28% of his promises during his presidency, even without the current global economic challenges.
In a Facebook post on August 9 following his campaign tour in Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ayensuano, and Suhum constituencies, Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, argued that Ghana needs a leader with fresh, innovative ideas and the capability to implement bold solutions for the future.
Bawumia asserted, “We don’t need to go back to a leader who woefully failed and only fulfilled 28% of his promises as President, even in the absence of the sort of global economic crisis we have faced recently.”
He urged voters to focus on forward-looking solutions and emphasized his commitment to progressing Ghana.
