Running Mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, has reminded Ghanaian youth of the need to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who will lead Ghana’s fourth industrial revolution.
He argues that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the one who has what it takes to lead the charge of the transformation of Ghana.
Napo, as he is affectionately called, made this known through a Facebook post after his visit to Korle Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Accra.
He noted that the students assured him of maintaining the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in power because the political party has proven over the years to represent the interests of the Ghanaian people with the various social interventions put in place.
His post read “The students of the Korle Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training Institutions made it unequivocally clear that they fully understand the far-reaching implications of their votes on December 7.
They are voting #number1 to protect their allowances. They are voting to safeguard the Free SHS policy for the benefit of their brothers, sisters and generations yet unborn. They are voting to ensure that the lights stay on. They are voting to support the realisation of Agenda 111—hospitals where they may one day have the opportunity to work, among others.
They are voting for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia because he is the man of the moment—leading our digital transformation and guiding Ghana into active participation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
I took the opportunity to urge these young individuals, beyond their resolve to vote for the NPP, to also spread Dr. Bawumia’s message of hope and bold solutions for the future.
With God, it is possible!
