New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has resumed his constituency-focused campaign tour following a media engagement on August 25.
On August 26, Dr Bawumia visited the Ablekuma North and West Constituencies in the Greater Accra Region, where he highlighted the enthusiasm and support for his proposals.
In a post on X, Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence in his campaign’s reception, stating, “The energy and enthusiasm I witnessed is further testament to the broad appreciation and acceptance of my proposal for bold solutions in addressing Ghana’s challenges.”
He pledged that his government would prioritize reducing the fiscal burden on the state by empowering the private sector, improving access to education and healthcare, and expanding social policies such as free SHS, Free TVET, and NHIS care.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized that his administration would focus on critical issues like the cost of living, unemployment, and infrastructure.
He underscored his commitment to further development, asserting, “My government will make business and jobs our number one priority.” He pledged continued investment in infrastructure, including support for Ghanaian contractors.
