Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has called on Ghanaians to support his bid for the presidency in the upcoming elections. Please join me as we strive for new and innovative leadership.
In a recent Facebook post following his campaign tour across the Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ayensuano, and Suhum constituencies, Bawumia criticized former President John Dramani Mahama, highlighting his failure to deliver on his promises during his tenure.
Bawumia noted that Mahama only fulfilled 28% of his promises despite not facing the severe global economic challenges currently affecting Ghana.
Bawumia argued that Ghana requires a leader with fresh ideas and bold solutions for the future.
“We don’t need to go back to a leader who woefully failed and only fulfilled 28% of his promises as President, even in the absence of the sort of global economic crisis we have recently,” he said, underlining the stark contrast between his vision and Mahama’s past performance.
He urged voters to focus on the future and consider his vision for the country, asserting that new leadership is not just a choice, but a necessity for progress.
