Benin government has vowed to boost public security and defense in its new five-year action plan (2016-2021), according to a government statement.
In the action plan, the government notes that permanent surveillance will be needed given the increased organized crime as well as regional and international terrorism.
The action plan proposed reinforcement of infrastructures, equipments as well as human resources of the different defense and security units that include the army, the police, fire fighters and intelligence services. Enditem
