Coaches Carl Lokko and Vincent Akai Nettey have commended the Besesaka Foundation for supporting 50 juvenile boxers selected from JamesTown and taking them through series of educational programmes to brighten them to become better citizens.

Yesterday, the 10 weeks Boxucation camp continued at Osu Presby Hall where the juvenile boxers were taken through dancing, lego formation and leadership classes.

Dance instructor, Nii Tackie Tagoe said the boxers have a great future because they did not find it difficult in learning the dance moves, while Teacher Love who handle the leadership class said they are smart and willing to learn more.

Boxing coaches Lokko of the Bronx Boxing Gym and Akai Nettey of Attoh Quarshie Gym said the opportunity is fantastic and the boxers are just lucky.

“It is not easy to get this chance, and we must be most grateful to Besesaka because my kids are also benefiting and they have improved in character and how they see life, I think this initiative is most welcome and parents must be glad and we must all pray for Besesaka so that they invest more into juvenile boxing ” Carl Lokko expressed.

Akai Nettey urged them to be disciplined and focused at all times, in the ring and outside the ring.

C. Nortey, the founder of Besesaka in Ghana also congratulated the boxers for their comportment and discipline.

He thanked all those who have supported them over the years and the parents who allowed their kids to be trained.

The juvenile boxers have been awarded scholarships for education and their welfare is also enhanced with the provision of logistics for their health and normal living.

Among the 50 young boxers selected are Mohammed Ablorh, Najat Lokko, Rahman Lokko, Caleb Mensah and Ruby the new female sensation who is learning the art very fast and showing massive enthusiasm to the programme.

Mr. Ebenezer Dowuona, the coordinator of Besesaka Foundation said the parents are happy and that inspires them to offer more support.
