Hiplife legend Big Joe Frazier has sparked a conversation with his recent claim that most sinful acts in Ghana occur after Sunday church services.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye of Property FM, Frazier reflected on a troubling observation he made over time.

“There is a popular saying that God should come first in whatever we do,” Frazier stated. “However, despite their religious devotion, I noticed many people tend to engage in sinful behaviours right after Sunday church services.”

He elaborated that his observation led him to conclude that a significant amount of hypocrisy is evident in the actions of some individuals after attending church. Frazier noted that this realization inspired him to create his new single, “After Church,” featuring King Paluta.

“After attending church, it’s common to see people resorting to negative behaviours like cursing others or engaging in sinful acts,” he explained. “I wanted to capture and address this contradiction through my music.”

Frazier emphasized that the inspiration behind the song came from his extensive observation of these patterns and his desire to highlight the disconnect between public piety and private behaviour. He noted that composing the lyrics for “After Church” was meticulous, aiming to create a track that resonates with listeners and remains relevant.

“The song reflects the reality I observed and aims to provoke thought and conversation,” Frazier said. “I hope it will encourage people to reflect on their actions and align their behaviours more closely with their spiritual values.”

Big Joe Frazier’s new single, “After Church,” is poised to spark discussions on the relationship between religious observance and personal conduct, shedding light on a pressing social issue through music.
