Talks of ferrying Fans to Brazil to support the Black Stars have taken over the airwaves in recent times with various stake holders including Kwasi Pratt have added their voice to call on government with cogent argument on why the government should not support the Supporters because of the cost involved.
However, there are various options to consider on ferrying the supporters to Brazil.
One of the several options on board is ferrying supporters in a ship across the Atlantic.
The Sports Minister, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah says it would take eight days to travel by sea from Ghana to Brazil.
He said on Angel FM that Ghana has not settled on the means of ferrying the huge supporter base to Brazil.
Hon. Ankrah stated that discussions are under on state sponsorship of the trip.
The Minister stated that, a committee has been set for this purpose and is yet to come out with its report to help settle the dicey situation.
Travelling by air is expensive and that has informed calls for ferrying supporters by Sea in their bid to support the senior national team,Black Stars as they make their third straight appearance at the competition in Brazil.
