Ghanaian radio personality, Blakk Rasta, recently stirred controversy by claiming that chiefs from the Ada area were celebrating the alleged paralysis of prominent businessman Daniel McKorley, popularly known as McDan.
The claims quickly spread across social media, causing widespread concern and speculation.
However, it has now emerged that the story was completely false. In a surprising turn of events, Blakk Rasta himself later retracted his statements, admitting that McDan was not paralyzed and that his earlier claims were unfounded.
Blakk Rasta’s retraction has raised serious questions about the motivations behind his initial statement, with many criticizing him for spreading misinformation that could have damaged the reputation of both McDan and the Ada chiefs.
As the dust settles, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of verifying information before making public statements, especially on platforms with a wide audience.
McDan, who continues to be active in his business endeavors, has not publicly commented on the matter, but those close to him have dismissed the rumors as baseless.
It also came up that, as at the time Black Rasta was making such spurious allegations, McDan was in Ada Songor receiving the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources in Charge of Mines, Hon. Mireku Duker.
McDan and officials of Electrochem took the Deputy Minister on tour of the facility where the Deputy Minister commended him and Electrochem for doing a good job.
