Ghanaian short film, Blurred Lines ?has been selected as one of the top 10 films in this year?s Afrinolly short film competition to be held in Nigeria.

Blurred Lines ?is a story about a man’s state of mind as he processes the emotional tyranny of an unfaithful wife.

The film which stars Francis Anderson, studio53 presenter, Sika Osei and Edward Agyekum Kufour was written and directed by Ben Je. The film demonstrates how easily the lines between good and bad, sane and insane could be blurred when emotions are at stake.

Blurred Lines is the director?s debut film with a small but strong cast and very few lines of dialogue and relies heavily on visual interplay in digesting the story.

The Afrinolly Short Film competition is a unique, innovative and youth-focused competition, with singular concentration on the next generation of African film makers.

The competition is designed to expand the conversations on issues about the African continent by Africans, motivate and reward young and emerging filmmakers who exhibit exceptional narrative skills using short movies and documentary as a medium.

Judges include, Steven Makovitz, Franklin Leonard, Akin Omotosho amongst others and led by ?award winning filmmaker and writer Femi Odugbemi

Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each of the two categories namely Short Movie and Documentary. The prizes are $25,000, $10,000 and ?$5,000 for the first, second and third positions respectively.

Ghanaians are encouraged to vote for Blurred Lines to win this year?s Afrinolly short film competition.
