Seventeen people suffered mild injuries this weekend after a tornado hit the southern Belgian town of Beauraing, according to the Belga news agency on Sunday, citing city officials.
Pictures shared on Belgian media showed buildings with roofs ripped off, blown out windows and damaged cars after the Saturday storm.
There was damage reported to 92 buildings and about 10 structures are no longer inhabitable, according to the report.
Most of the injured were on a cafe terrace when the storm struck, according to the report. Beauraing lies south of the Belgian city of Namur, near the French border.
