
The total cost of the devices amounts to 778.057 million CFA francs (about 1.32 million U.S. dollars), free of taxes and customs, and the Taiwan-funded project should be completed within 150 days, the Council of Ministers in a release issued on Wednesday evening said.
The West-African country is facing energy crisis and a 33 Megawatts solar power plant has been launched mid-June, the largest of the country.
The 47.5 million euros project is to be completed within two years and implies 129,600 solar panels, the government said. Enditem
