Cabic Promotions, under the leadership of CEO Ivan-Bruce Cudjoe, has announced a triumphant return to the boxing arena with a renewed commitment to nurturing young talent.

Speaking at the Idrowhyt Events Center in Dansoman, Accra, Cudjoe declared, “We’re back and better than ever, with a clear goal of cultivating future world champions.” He invited boxing enthusiasts to witness what he called a “miracle” at their upcoming event.

The return of Cabic Promotions, following a year-long hiatus, marks a pivotal moment for Ghanaian boxing. Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) President Abraham Kotei Neequaye echoed Cudjoe’s sentiments, emphasizing the sport’s growing influence and its significance as a national pastime. Neequaye pledged continued support from the GBA to elevate boxing’s stature in the country.

Scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Idrowhyt Events Centre in Dansoman, the “Cabic Big Fight Night” promises an action-packed lineup featuring nine thrilling bouts. Headlining the event is an eight-round super featherweight showdown between Emmanuel Mankattah and Daniel Tetteh, showcasing Ghana’s emerging boxing talents.

Rising star Kofi Dana will face off against Dzivor Godsway in an intense eight-round lightweight contest, while Michael Darko takes on Raymond Ansah in an equally compelling middleweight matchup.

Further highlighting the event are clashes in the bantamweight and super welterweight divisions, featuring Mohammed Fuseini vs. Kamarudeen Boyefio and Daniel Lartey vs. Bernard Ayittey Tagoe, respectively.

Looking ahead, Cabic Promotions plans to host similar high-profile events every three months, underscoring their commitment to developing young boxers and revitalizing Ghana’s boxing scene.
