Asante Kotoko head coach David Duncan has tried to take the steam out of their Champions league second leg tie against MC EL Eulma by saying it?won?t?be a season defining moment.
Duncan who was brought in to replace Mas-Ud Dramani has enjoyed maximum success since taking up the Ghanaian Champions Asante Kotoko.
He led the side to an impressive 0-0 drawn game in the first leg of the tie and has swept all points on the domestic front.
His impact has been even more impressive given the situation the team was with seven games without a win and confidence at an all time low.
Kotoko?s newly found winning mentality will be put to test when they take on El Eulma in the Champions league on Sunday ?with many expecting a walk in the park.
But Duncan says the outcome of the game is important but won?t be season defining.
?The idea is continue the same way we have done in the last two to three weeks play with all that we have got and we will be fine,? Duncan told GHANAsoccernet.com
?We know that is an important game but yes it?s just another game it won?t define our season.?
?I just took over the side and it is early days yet but yes we are going to do everything possible for the victory.?
Kotoko fell out to JSM Bejaia at this stage two seasons ago and suffered the same fate last season at the hands Barrack Young Controllers.
