“We are glad to note that there is an increasing interest in marketing our feminine and youths competitions. This is encouraging to us as concerns our policy options on development, and grants sustained attention to these domains.

These competitions should not have to delay in coming up with their balanced budget, which would already be a success. We wish to thank our partner IFAP Sports, which, since 2004, has believed in the developmental potential of these CAF competitions”, the President of CAF, Issa Hayatou, pointed out.

The contract was signed during a ceremony at the headquarters of CAF, by the President of CAF and the General Manager of IFAP Sports, Eric Durand. It was done in the presence of many Executive Committee members of CAF. CAF Secretary General, Hicham El Amrani also signed at the bottom of the document by which IFAP Sports commits to provide a guaranteed minimum of 4.470.000 US dollars.

“We thank CAF for its confidence, and by way of this contract, we testify to CAF of our faith in the future of African football. There are still new markets to conquer. We will spare no efforts to meet the expectations of CAF”, Eric Durand promised.
