Baring any last minute hitches, the 11th November, 2017 date of this year’s Anambra State Economic Forum (ASDF) is billed to witness the party ready to engender a rapid reordering of the lives of Anambra people and Nigeria in general.

Prince Osita A. Okeke the global Principal Co-coordinator Concerned Anambrarians Foundation for Development (CAFD) organizers of the forum, ,made this known to journalists while speaking about the forum which is slated to hold at Emmaus House Complex, Awka, Anambra State even as he described the forum as a Game Changer in Anambra polity.

The Concerned Anambrarians Foundation for Development (CAFD) which has her objectives as promoting a rapid social and economic =development, Charity and Unity and Cultural Renaissance of Anambra State, Prince Okeke stated, have concluded arrangements to invite the Principal Contenders: Chief Willie Obiano – APGA, Dr. Tony Nwoye – APC, Osita Chidoka – UPP, Godwin Ezeimo – PPA, Chief Oseloka Obaze – PDP, Ifeanyi Okonkwo – ADP, Yul Edochie – DPC, in the upcoming governorship election in the state holding on the 18th of November 2017 to tell the people at the Economic Forum how they will better affect their lives economically and socially.

According to him, the economic forum which will be chaired by Chief Emeka Anyaoku (former Secretary General of Commonwealth) will have other lead speakers like Prof. Peter Ejiofor (former VC UNIZIK), Prof. Ben Osisioma: Dr. Uche Nwafor; Prof. John Ogbazi etc. will further expound the importance of the forum.

Most national elections in the past decades ere debates over which party could best manage government, but in this instance we want to hear plans for multiple taxation cuts; the role of government in our daily lives; aggressive agricultural and industrial projections; economic self-sufficiency and a government that will not only leave a legacy but one that will fundamentally change our lives for the better he said.

Recalling the speeches of Demosthenes and Aeschines, two Athenian Orators debating the coming conflict with Sparta, also known as the Peloponnesian war, 2,500 years earlier. Aeschines delivered a well crafted thoughtful speech aimed at persuading his people to welcome the invaders to avoid a protracted and bloody war. the audience applauded politely and it was reported, “how well he spoke” But Demosthenes, who delivered a rousing call to arms, expounding individual liberties and freedom as inherent rights, moved the Greeks to actions when he finished speaking, the Greeks said, Let us march, the CAFD Boss made it clear that the coming economic forum will throw up the candidate and party that will become rooted in the future for our people and state.
