Cameroonian Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute suspended all trips abroad by government ministers and their collaborators as part of measures to prevent and control COVID-19 outbreak in the country, according to the state television CRTV on Saturday.

So far, Cameroon has reported three cases. The information about the latest case was made public on Saturday morning. It is a Cameroonian living in Italy who passed through Paris and arrived in Cameroon on March 7.

The first patient was reported on March 6, a French citizen who arrived in Yaounde on February 24. The second case is a Cameroonian woman who was in close contact with the first patient. According to the health ministry, these two patients are showing signs of improvement. Enditem
