It is no doubt that the biggest opposition political party in Ghana has been in turmoil in the past months till today which has thrown Ghanaians and for that matter Political Watchers into unexpected shocks.
The mind boggling question most Ghanaians ask is, “can the NPP be trusted when the nation’s resources and assets are given to them to manage?
Ghanaians have not forgotten about the atrocious acid attack launched on the NPP Upper East Regional Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mahama by his own party men which led to his death on 21st May,2015. This has further culminated into intra-party war and factionalism which has led to mistrust, schemes and suspicion among themselves. Some party bigwigs cannot trust one another anymore.
The use of thugs and machomen “Invincinble forces, Bolga Bull Dogs etc in recent times by the NPP is unprecedented. The mistrust and suspicion in the NPP is now clear to Ghanaians.
Can these happenings really help the country as they continue nurturing their overly ambition of managing this country?
Do you remember the leak tape of Dishonourable Yaw Osafo Marfo’s tribal comment in the NPP Council Meeting at Koforidua? That “Akan-speaking people, who regions are rich with natural resources, are not the ones in the helms of managing those resources…” This is how divisive the NPP can be.
There comes again the leak tape of a confidential overdraft /loan facility contracted from the PRUDENTIAL BANK LIMITED which was used to financed their 2012 general elections campaign.
Can Ghanaians entrust this country into the hands of these untrustworthy people?
Absolutely, a big NO.
Do you remember the leakage of the NPP MEMO alleged to have financed Yvonne Nelson’s Dumsor Vigil?
The battle between John Boadu and Baah Acheamfour all of the NPP over who leaked this confidential vital MEMO remains a mystery and has subsequently become the 10th wonder of the world.
The big question again is, should we entrust our country, Ghana into the hands of the NPP? If they cannot manage their own internal affairs; how can they manage a whole country? How can these people manage state security issues and documents which require high level of confidentiality?
These and many other things forced the Deputy Gen. Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen to pass this comment “All is not well with our party, there are those who fear to say it but I am saying it…”
It is now absolutely crystal clear that Nana Addo Darkwah Akuffo Addo and his men have nothing better to offer this country and for that matter must be totally rejected.
Ghanaians (first class, second class and third class citizens) being discerning will never entrust the future of this country into hands of these overly ambitious people.
The elephant must be chased into the bush forever. Chase the elephant, the politics of mistrust, suspicion and schemes into the bush come 2016.
God bless Ghana!
