Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has underscored the party’s commitment to employing strategic and tactical approaches in its campaign efforts.
This focus is a clear indication of the party’s preparedness to secure victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Speaking on the ‘Ghanakoma’ morning show on Akoma 87.9fm in Kumasi alongside Sir John, Chairman Wontumi highlighted the NPP’s comprehensive campaign strategy as a critical advantage. This strategic approach positions the NPP as a frontrunner over other political parties in Ghana.
He particularly noted the strategic importance of effectively engaging northern, Zongo, and other settler communities, especially given the origins of the north of the flag-bearers of the main political parties.
Chairman Wontumi emphasized that coordinators in these areas would be provided with the necessary logistics to enhance their effectiveness.
Addressing economic concerns, Chairman Wontumi pointed out that despite challenges, Ghana’s economy was showing signs of recovery.
He stressed that Ghanaians recognize the global economic dynamics and are inclined to support the NPP, a party that understands and is ready to navigate these dynamics, in continuing to build on the foundation for economic growth already laid.
Highlighting the NPP’s social and economic interventions, Chairman Wontumi urged Ghanaians to consider these factors and feel hopeful about the party’s commitment to the betterment of all citizens as they support the NPP.
He underscored the importance of allowing Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President, the opportunity to continue serving Ghana, citing it as pivotal for sustainable economic development.
