Mr. Samuel Owusu Amoah – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Division Two side, Charity Stars FC, has said his club is determined to produce quality footballers for the country.

Mr. Amoah, made this known when his club played a select side led by captain of the national under-17 team, the Black Starlets Eric Ayiah “Ayiah XI” in a special friendly match to honour coach Paa Kwesi Fabin, who led the Black Starlets to the just ended Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) U-17 World Cup in India.

In an interview with the GNA Sports, Mr. Amoah noted that, Ghana abounds in talents and it is the responsibility of clubs to unearth and manage these talents.

“Charity Stars FC as a Division Two club has successfully contributed to the national teams with a lot of quality players.

“We have had our players in the Starlets, Satellites and through to the senior side.

“Ghana has a lot of talents in football and it’s left to us the club owners to unearth and manage these players into national assets. It is one of our core values to add meaning to the talents that abounds in the country.

“We have produced players who are playing for clubs in Europe, but did not go through any of the national teams.” He stated.

Ayiah XI beat Charity Stars FC by 4-2 in a game to honor the contribution of Paa Kwesi Fabin in unearthing and developing talents in Ghana.
