Narh, who arrived in Ghana early this week lifted 155kg in the first round before lifting 161kg, which is over the mark of 150kg for qualification to the Olympics.

This automatically gives him an advantage to pick a ticket to the Paralympic Games, as the IPC meets in April to formally announce those who have qualified for the event.

Mr. Peter Adjei, coach of the the Powerlifter told sportscrusader.com that, “the final slot allocation will be done in April and Narh is in a good position to be selected for the Paralympic games”.

He however hinted that, Narh will participate in another championship in Malaysia, which will be used to firmly secure his presence at the sports festival.
