Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo, a staunch advocate for justice, has pledged to streamline the accessibility of justice for all Ghanaians, emphasizing her unwavering commitment to ensuring that approaching the court system does not cause undue distress.

Addressing journalists on Friday, Chief Justice Torkonoo highlighted collaborative efforts within her team to enhance judicial efficiency.

“I am fortunate to work with strong leaders who support our mission to improve the court experience,” she stated.

“My prayer is that soon, Ghanaians will find it easier to approach the court without feeling traumatized,” Chief Justice Torkonoo expressed, underscoring her unwavering commitment to fostering a more accessible justice system and instilling optimism for a better court experience.

In addition, she announced plans to address issues surrounding land litigation in Ghana, including establishing a committee of justices dedicated to resolving these matters.

“I am dedicated to tackling land litigation challenges effectively,” Chief Justice Torkonoo affirmed, outlining proactive steps to improve judicial processes and uphold justice for all citizens, instilling hope for a fair and efficient system.
