Henry Rabary-Njaka, Chief of Staff of Madagascar’s president Hery Rajaonarimampianina, was dismissed by the Council of Ministers Wednesday.

RajaonarimampianinaEarlier this week, Rabary-Njaka resigned from his position as chairman of Air Madagascar’s board of directors with his team amid the strike led by employees of Air Madagascar since June 15.

Rabary-Njaka was close to Rajaonarimampianin, who promoted him as Chief of Staff of the presidency on Feb. 27, 2014.

His resignation was among the recommendations of the strikers in Air Madagascar Company where he was named chairman of board of Directors to pull out the company from the Annex B — an EU system listing aircrafts banned to fly in European sky.

The successor of Rabary-Njaka as Chief of Staff of the Presidency is not yet known, but Leon Rajaobelina, a close economic advisor of Madagascar’s president, succeeded him as the new chairman of board of directors in Air Madagascar since Wednesday. Enditem
