The Ethiopian government said on Saturday that the second China-Africa E-Commerce Forum would be held in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, in November, this year.

The forum, to be co-organized by the Ethiopian Ministry of Innovation and Technology and the China Chamber of International Commerce, is expected to further strengthen trade and investment relations between China and the African continent, the ministry said in a statement.

The first edition of the forum was held in November last year in Chengdu, China, attracting around 500 attendees as well as ambassadors and counselors from 19 African countries, including Ethiopia, Guinea, Cameroon, Comoros and Ghana, according to organizers. Enditem
