China has invited Uganda to attended three major expositions this year, an agency said Tuesday.
Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB), a state-owned marketing agency, said in a statement that the expositions include the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing, the 1st China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, and the 2nd China International Import Expo in November.
At the 1st China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, which is scheduled in June in Changsha, capital city of Hunan Province, Ugandans can exhibit their products and also network. The exposition is also part of measures to increase imports into China from African countries.
UEPB urged Ugandans to take part in the events, saying they are opportunities for the country to showcase its products, tourism and investment potential to the Chinese market.
The agency said the events are also opportunities to establish business linkages with partners, buyers and business facilitators. Enditem
