Politics Assembly Members Motorbikes

The Chinese embassy in Sierra Leone has donated a batch of motorbikes to the Sierra Leone Police Force to help enhance its operational capabilities in remote communities.

Receiving the motorbikes, Vice President of Sierra Leone Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh said the motorbikes would add to the mobility assets of the police.

“These motorbikes would be used to reach remote areas that are not motorable, provide hope to the people and facilitate efficient and effective policing,” he said.

The country’s Inspector General of Police Ambrose Michael Sovula assured that the motorbikes would be used for their intended purpose.

Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone Hu Zhangliang said that the motorbikes were donated to support the work of the police force to help fulfill its mission in law enforcement.

Hu said China and Sierra Leone have enjoyed a cordial relationship for decades, and China is willing to further boost the mutual cooperation in various fields. Enditem
