Chippa United appoints Lehlohonolo Seema as new coach

Absa Premiership side Chippa United, have appointed Lehlohonolo Seema as its new head coach on a three-year deal, replacing Rulani Mokwena who served as interim coach on a short term basis.

“Coach Seema joins the Chilli Boys from Bloemfontein Celtic wherein he put in notable performances and his abilities as a coach at the highest level were evident, the club said in a statement,” the club announced via its Twitter handle on Monday.

“Chairperson of the club, Siviwe Mpengesi expressed his support for coach Seema and expressed his confidence in a winning combination between the coach and the ambitions of Chippa United during his tenure.”

Seema, 40, joins Chippa United from fellow top-flight side Bloemfontein Celtic where he had served as caretaker manager before being handed the managerial reins on a permanent basis for the 2019/2020 campaign.
