APOSTLE ANTHONY Kingsley Miah, Koforidua Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, has called on Christians to make Jesus Christ their personal consultant in all endeavours, instead of relying solely on men of God.
He said the proliferation of churches these days had resulted in the increase in what he referred to as ?questionable doctrines? which in most cases mislead people.
The Area Head worriedly said, ?Many innocent Christians have become victims to the activities of these self-acclaimed men of God, who are wolves coming in sheep clothing and employ all forms of cunning strategies to lure people into their traps.?
Apostle Anthony Kingsley Miah said this in a sermon he preached recently to mark the end of the Koforidua District of the Church of Pentecost annual Christmas convention held at the Central Tabernacle at Koforidua in the Eastern Region on the theme: ?Jesus Christ is the Light of the World.
He continued that the birth of Jesus Christ and the subsequent visit of the three wise men and shepherds to perform their respective spiritual duties opened a new era for believers to worship God through Jesus Christ.
Apostle Anthony Kingsley Miah who spoke on a number of issues that bordered on Christian maturity said Christians should uphold the true doctrines of Christ and keep away from their former sinful lives.
Rev Samuel Tetteh Doku, Koforidua District Pastor described the four day convention as a very successful one.
Rev Doku, who is also the Chairman of the Prisons Ministry, commended the resource persons for the 2013 Christmas Convention.
He also commended the officers and members of the church for their respective roles in helping to make the convention a success.
