Pastor Maxwell Adubofourh Asiedu, the minister in-charge of Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost has advised church leaders to be sincere when giving an account on the work they do.

He administered this advice at the 2023 End-of-Year District Presbytery meeting held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Central Assembly auditorium.

Drawing from the story of the spies who were sent by Moses to explore the Promised Land, Pastor Adubofourh Asiedu read from Numbers 13:26-33, and spoke on the topic: “Good and Bad Reports.”

The Yennyawoso District Minister expressed concern about how some church leaders falsify reports for vainglory, highlighting the consequences and the implications of such acts.

“Bad report always brings chaos; it may appear to be good but it can cost your position and life as well,” he cautioned.

He, therefore, entreated church leaders to always report nothing but the truth.

“When you are reporting, make sure you report on what you have done,” he stressed, adding, “Do not exaggerate or inflate figures to enhance your reports for personal aggrandizement, but report on the actual events.”
