Citi FM?has won three awards at the 2013 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards which took place on Thursday at the Accra International Conference Center.

Citi FM?s?Programmes Manager, and host of?Brunch in the Citi?and?Sister Sister, Jessica Opare Saforo won the Best Female Radio Personality of the Year and Best Mid-morning Show Host of the Year while?Citi FM?s?flagship programme,?Eyewitness News?won the Radio News Programme of the Year.

At the first edition of the RTP Awards,?Brunch in the Citi, was honoured as the Best Mid-morning Show of the year.

Eyewitness News?also bagged the Radio News Programme of the Year for the second time in a row at the Radio and Television Personality awards 2013.

Citi FM?received eight nominations in all.

Eyewitness News?received two nominations in Radio Programme of the Year and Radio News Programme of the Year categories.

Citi Breakfast Show?host, Bernard Avle was nominated for the Radio Morning Show Host of the Year; Shamima Muslim Alhassan was nominated for Radio Newscaster of the Year (English).

Host of?Brunch in the Citi, Jessica Opare Saforo was nominated for Radio Mid-Morning Show Host of the Year, Radio Female Presenter of the Year as well as Best Radio Personality of the Year.

Finally, Richard Dela Sky received nomination for Radio Development Show Host of the Year.

The RTP Awards is aimed at recognizing the work of Radio and TV personalities over a period and reward personalities for their immense contribution towards the development of the industry in Ghana.
