World?s most fierce club rivary will be re ignited in the Spanish second largest town Barcelona as the Blaugrana welcomes the Los Blancos in the first league of this year?s Spanish supercopa tonight.
Barcelona won the cup last season courtesy a 5 ? 4 aggregate but Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho saids that spurred his side to winning the La Liga from Barcelona. Speaking in an interview Mourinho who now prefers to be called the ?Only One? said, ?If I could choose, I?d choose what happened last year where we lost and won the league. If loosing is a motivation for winning the league, I?d sign off on it now?.
Vilanova began life at Barca with a 5 ? 1 rubbing of Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou last Sunday whiles Mourinho?s Real Madrid settled for a 1 ? 1 drawn game with Valencia but when the two sides meet it?s a different ball game all together. It is about who copes better with the environment (the pressure from outside).
Mourinho is likely to start with: Casilas, Ramos, Marcelo, Abiol, Arbeloa, Alonso, Khedira, Di Maria, Ozil and Ronaldo in a 4-2-3-1 tactical layout whereas Vilanova is likely to start with: Valdez, Alves, Alba, Puyol, Mascherano, Busquet, Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro and Messi in a 4-3-3 tactical layout.
Both coaches were involved in an off the pitch fracas last season?s match where Mourinho poked Vilanova in the eyes. But the Real Madrid coach has apologized for the incident.
Barcelona has included their new signing Alexandre Song in their squad to give them a freshen bitters in the second half but Mourinho claims nothing has changed with the Catalans.
