Black Stars head coach Avram Grant will be at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi to watch Asante Kotoko?s clash with Algerian side MC?El Eulma in the CAF Champions League on Sunday afternoon.
The Ghana Football Association has confirmed in a statement on their website.?Grant returned to Accra on Friday after Ghana?s international friendlies against Senegal and Mali in France last weekend.
And, he will be in the Ashanti Regional capital to watch the CAF Champions League second leg clash.
His presence at the Baba Yara Stadium will be an opportunity for Kotoko players to impress the Israeli gaffer if they want to earn a call-up into the Black Stars.
Grant has been accused of overlooking local players in his squad for the international games but being at the game on Sunday will mean he wants to show his readiness to take a look at the local players at his disposal.
Kotoko, Ghana Premier League title-holders, must win against minnows Eulma to qualify for the next stage of the CAF Champions League. They drew the first-leg 0-0 in Algeria three weeks ago.
