Mrs Alice Attipoe, Director of Human Resource, Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations has urged marketers to collaborate with other departments to strategise best practices of selling ideas to the

There is the need for marketers to adapt to changing times to be abreast of new technological development in the field to be relevant since the global economy is growing at a fast and competitive rate.

Mrs Attipoe made the call at a Senior Executives? Breakfast meeting and focus group discussion organised by Chartered Institute of Marketing in Accra.

The programme was on the theme: ?The Future of Marketing by 2025.?

She proposed that the study of marketing should be inculcated into the school?s curriculum since marketing plays an integral role in every aspect of its activities.

Mrs Attipoe asked organisations to focus on re-branding, adding that it forms part of the strategies for effective marketing as well as helps the public to understand their philosophies better.

She said the role of marketing in governance is necessary because it enables government to design policies for easy comprehension and gain public recognition on its programmes and activities.

Mrs Anne Godfrey, Chief Executive Officer of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK commended marketers in the country for best approaches in rebranding their organisations.

She said markers should focus on how new strategies like how the use of social media could help in modern marketing to be more relevant.

Mrs Attipoe said there is the need for organisations to understand its customers, their expectations, competitors and develop proactive measures of addressing them in an efficient and effective approach.
