Stand-up comedian Derick Kobina Bonney, popular as DKB, has shared his valuable perspective on Pastor Mensah Otabil’s recent comments about marriage and financial readiness, a viewpoint that is important to consider in our evolving society.

DKB argued that the rising cost of living and the increasing financial independence of women have made it more challenging for men to meet the traditional expectations of financial readiness before marriage.

DKB further pointed out that financial issues are prevalent in divorce cases today.
“Daddy, if you go to divorce court, ninety per cent of the cases are money issues. Daddy, we are waiting to get money before we get married. Daddy, your time was better.
If you don’t take care this time, you go marry the devil,” he added.
