wpid-footballjpgpagespeedceVId9czVxgI.jpgThe management of Atebubu Esperance Football club has accused the chairman of Techiman Football club of, Micky Charles of engaging in some underhand dealings with the officiating referee and match officials in the division one leagues game played at the Atebubu Presby Park last week.

Micky Charles, the chairman of Techiman city club is said to double as an executive member of Ghana Football Association.

He noted that the officials of Atebubu Esperance were fortunate to hear this plot and had an emergency meeting on Thursday 21st in their club house at Atebubu.

The referees appointed to officiate the match were 1 Francis Techie Menson ?center, Tawiah Richard -line 1????? Daniel ntaamah- line2. This same referee was contracted to cause the exit of universal stars from division one league in Brong Ahafo at Techiman.

Before the match he started using words like I will die for this match. Information we had in the morning regarding the match commissioner?s delay was that he met Micky Charles at Ejura to finalize things before continuing to Atebubu to regulate the match.

Mr Yaw Boakye noted that in that match, experance beat Techiman SC 2:0 Bu the match commissioner in his report changed the 2:0 score line in favour of Esperance to a 0:0 score line. However, Techiman SC in their earlier game had beaten Atebubu Esperance by Techiman and Micky Charles said he needed a draw to qualify so he engaged in all sorts of machinations to achieve his selfish ambitions

How can match officials be that wicked in this manner? he enquired. Eric Boakye noted that since there was no sponsor for this year?s division 1 league, participating ??teams were made to pay 6300ghsAs a result, everybody is cautious of his home match. We are therefore appealing to the Ghana Football Association to investigate the matter and punish the culprits involved.
