Court fines farmer for disturbing proceedings

LAWA 38-year-old farmer has been ordered by the Nyinahin Magistrate Court to pay a fine of GH?1,800 for disturbing its proceedings and insulting behavior.

Samuel Owusu, who pleaded guilty to the offence, would serve 190 days in prison in default.
The court was in session on Thursday, November 6, when the convict walked in to create a scene, shouting insults on one of the police prosecutors, Chief Inspector Samson Cobbina.
The proceedings of the court were interrupted as the security officers tackled him.
