COVID-19 cases in Sierra Leone rise to 225

Sierra Leone’s number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 225, with the highest daily rise of 26 cases recorded on Wednesday, according to local health authorities.

The West African country saw 11 new recovered cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the number of recovered patients to 54. The death toll surged to 14 with three new deaths recorded.

Sierra Leone lifted its nationwide lockdown on Wednesday.
