The three youngsters scheduled for audition against the seven-time African champions are Derrick Fabian Kizito, plying his trade in the Netherlands, Young Africans’ Tonny Ndoro and El Merrikh’s Ronny Martins Lwanyaga.
Bobby Williamson’s summoned side also includes Lwanyaga’s teammate Mike Mutyaba, Victoria University defender Denis Guma and SC Villa’s inspirational skipper Steven Bengo among others.
The squad comprising mainly of home-based players started training on Saturday at Nakivubo Stadium.
The game was earlier scheduled for February in Egypt but later called off following the Port Saidi incident in which at least 74 fans perished in clashes between fans Al Masry and Al Ahly.
“Fufa is much aware of the seniority of the Egyptian side that has been together for long but the main aim is to give our home-based players an international exposure,” said a statement from the Ugandan federation.
