In An Evil Attempt To Bring Disunity Into NDC
News Desk Report
The evil they say, find job for the idle hand; and that is why Charles Takyi-Boadu has become a tool for questionable characters like Ernest Owusu-Bempah to use in order to carry out their evil agenda.
Charles Takyi-Boadu, who has been handed over the herculean task by his employers to ensure that President Mills and the NDC are destroyed to the advantage of the opposition NPP and its flagbearer, just within 24hours and in two separate articles authored by him and published in the Daily Guide, has exposed himself, demonstrating to Ghanaians and the world at large how unprofessional he has been in his practice as a journalist. Under the headline I DON’T NEED JJ, attributing the statement to His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills, the “Jonny-Just-Come” (JJC) Charles Takyi-Boadu in a badly written article sought to create the impression that there is a bad blood between former President Rawlings and the sitting President, (Professor John Mills).
Virtually throwing the ethics of journalism practice to the dogs, Charles Takyi-Boadu, without verifying his source of information decided to churn-out lies, claiming that President Mills in a meeting with the top brass of his party at the Peduase Lodge, a Presidential facility located off the Accra-Aburi road last Friday had stated that ‘he does not need ex-President Rawlings nor the wife to win this year’s presidential elections.’
When it turns out that President Mills never presided over any such meeting as Charles Takyi-Boadu and the Daily Guide would want Ghanaians to believe via a statement signed by the Deputy Information Minister, Hon. James Agyenim-Boateng, Charles Takyi-Boadu, in another publication decided to beat a sharp retreat. This time round under the headline “I NEED RAWLINGS BADLY”; and quoting the Honourable Deputy Minister word-for-word, Charles Takyi-Boadu, in order to save his badly-soiled image as a result of his earlier publication, decided to force another lie down the throat of Ghanaians.
Suddenly changing the avenue of the supposed meeting from Peduase Lodge to the Forest Hotel at Dodowa, Charles Takyi-Boadu in line with his assigned duty insisted that President Mills made those comments, quoting members of the splinter group, the FONKAR as his source of information.
Realizing the disgrace that has come his way and with FONKAR now dissolved, we are waiting to know who the sources of Charles Takyi-Boadu will be. Exposing the lies of the Daily Guide, government in a statement, indicated that no such meeting had taken place as reported by Charles Takyi-Boadu. According to the information, the President was nowhere near the Peduase Lodge as part of his schedules last Friday.
He swore in, newly appointed Ministers of State at the Castle, commissioned Olam Factory at Tema and then returned to the Castle for other official meetings, the statements said. But since Charles Takyi-Boadu is the originator of the story, claiming that President Mills says he does not need the Rawlingses, he must prove it.
Although, Charles Takyi-Boadu had been fortunate to have worked with Fortune Alimi and A.R. Gomda, he refused to learn from their ‘demise’, thinking he has what it takes to destroy President Mills and for that matter the NDC. We shall see how he will end having decided to unwisely do the bidding of his paymasters.
