Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem says it was an easy decision to return to boyhood club St Pauli.
The 27-year-old made the switch back to Germany on Sunday after leaving Austrian side FC Wacker Innsbruck due to lack of playing time.
The Ghanaian-German footballer is not new to St Pauli having featured 91 times, scoring five goals between 2006-2012 before signing for Danish side Esbjerg fB.
?I?m glad to be back home. FC St. Pauli is always in my heart. It has never lost in my sight in recent years? he told the club?s website
?After my long injury, it is like a new beginning for me. This is me and it was very easy to choose St. Pauli, because from day one I felt the team in my heart.?
