The members and leaders of the Burutu Transformation Student Ambassadors in Diaspora (BTSAD) and Gbaramatu Students in Diaspora (GSD) has extended a warm congratulatory message and pass vote of confidence on Delta State Governor-Elect,Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State Deputy Governor-Elect, Barrister Deacon Otuaro Burutu Kingsley and Burutu Federal Constituency House of Representative-Elect, Rt.Hon. Julius G Pondi for their various electoral victories and commend President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for accepting defeat and for his matured statesmanship which lead Our nation to experience violence free, free and fair and credible election.

In a joint statement sign by the President Gbaramatu Students in Diaspora (GMD), Comr. Otuaro Bebekebinatenkumor Isoko-owe, the President Burutu Transformation Students Ambassadors in Diaspora (BTSAD), Comr. Arerebo Salaco Yerinmene Peter’s Jr., The National Adviser BTSAD, Comr. Fanti B. Covenant and The Public Relation Officer Gbaramatu Students in Diaspora, Comr. Ibezi Tamarabrakemi Sebastine.

The group slated that they are so pleased to hear their electoral victory. Certainly their willingness to volunteer their time and effort, as well as express their opinions, has contributed to their being elected for their various elective post.

“We are confident that their collective influence will continue to encourage our (students-youths) proud tradition of involvement in worthwhile political causes and we hope that they will engage youths in human capacity building which will help to attain peaceful, productive life and better administration in the state.

“We looks forward to working closely as a student with you all to strengthen our relationship further and to address together the many common challenges that face the youths of Delta State.

The students urge Okowa, Otuaro and Pondi and others to collectively work together to make sure that public schools, colleges and universities are properly and fairly funded, and that the state (Delta) they love is moving forward. This is a victory for all students, families and communities.
