Black Princesses coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is urging Ghanaians to be modest with their expectations ahead of the Women’s Under-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
Ghana will battle USA, France and New Zealand at the championship. The team will be seeking to qualify from the group phase for the first time after failing in three previous occasions.
The Princesses will open their account on November 14 against New Zealand before playing France and USA respectively.
Coach Dramani insists his target is to progress from the group.
“I think that we are very far from winning the World Cup that is not our main target,” the former Kotoko coach told Starr Sports.
“We need to be very modest in our expectations because the previous editions, we’ve not been able to progress from the group but now our expectation is to qualify from the group first and the rest will follow.
“We want to be very realistic in terms of our expectations,” Dramani said.
