Dr Philip Lamptey, one of the aspiring NDC Chairman for the Ablekuma South Constituency, and a leading contender ?of the race has been tipped to win the position.

Dr Philip Lamptey ?who has been described by many constituent as an embodiment of peace and unity would unite the party at the constituency towards winning the 2016 elections

According to the people Dr Philip Lamptey would win the contest because his messages were issues based and well tailored to the appropriate quarters without insults and attacks.

They said, they were impressed about how the aspirant had, within a short time, identified with party members and the people in the constituency which could help win more votes for the NDC.

Speaking to Dr Philip Lamptey,? he expressed confidence in winning the upcoming constituency Chairmanship election of the party.

Speaking to spyghana?in an interview on his chances of winning, he said the grassroots members in the constituency are discerning and looking at him to unite the party.

He said his loyalty and commitment to the party ?in the area over the years was ample proof of his concern for the interest and welfare of the branches of the party.

He explained that he had participated in all party activities, adding that: ?I have the requisite experience and the administrative acumen to handle the position as regional chairman.

He enumerated his plans and programmes that would ensure the development of the youth and help the women?s wing in their small scale businesses in the area.

?I owe it a duty to the country to ensure that it retained power come 2016 when given the nod.?

He appealed to members of the party to close their ranks and work together, devoid of bickering, acrimony, disunity, and cautioned the rank and file members not to play in the hands of the NPP.
