Dr Samuel Sarpong, the Second National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on the party’s sympathisers in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency to unite ahead of the upcoming elections to successfully wrestle power from the NPP.
According to him, it was only through unity that the party could emerge victorious in both the presidential and parliamentary polls.
He made the call during a fund-raising ceremony, held at Bibiani, in the Western North Region to support their 2024 campaign activities.
Mr. Michael Aidoo, the Western North Regional Chairman of the NDC, assured the regional executives of using the money accrued from the fund raising for its intended purpose judiciously.
He urged residents of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai to vote for Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo, the party’s Parliamentary Candidate as their next member of parliament (MP) for the area, and Mr. John Dramani Mahama as the next president to bring prosperity to the people.
Mr. Brefo was thankful to the leadership of the NDC for their massive enthusiasm to support his bid to recapture the seat from NPP come December 7.
He said the amount raised would go a long way to support the party’s campaign to bring change and address the plights of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituents.
