Effiduase Police Investigate Death of 28-Year-Old Ibrahim Ahmed

The Effiduase Police Command in the New Juaben North Municipality is currently investigating the death of 28-year-old Ibrahim Ahmed, whose lifeless body was discovered early Tuesday morning, July 23rd, at Pipeline, a suburb of Koforidua.

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) received crucial reports from vigilant passersby, a testament to the community’s active involvement in ensuring safety. These reports subsequently alerted the Effiduase Police Command, leading to their swift response. Police officers arrived at the scene and began investigations to determine the cause of Ibrahim Ahmed’s death.

They meticulously gathered forensic evidence and engaged with residents in the neighbourhood, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for the truth.

Confirming the incident, Kankam Twumasi Daniel, Deputy Municipal Director of NADMO for New Juaben North, stated that the victim’s body had been transported to St. Joseph Hospital for post-mortem examination.

“In the early hours of Tuesday, we received a call from Pipeline within the New Juaben North Municipality, Asokore. We collaborated with the Effiduase Police Command to respond to the scene,” said Daniel.

“We found the lifeless body of Ibrahim Ahmed. The circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been determined.”

“The police are actively investigating the matter, and the body has been transferred to St. Joseph mortuary for autopsy. Family members have been informed and have assisted the investigative team,” he added.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are diligently working to establish the cause of Ibrahim Ahmed’s untimely death. We will continue to provide updates as the investigation progresses.
