EgyptAir, the flag carrier of Egypt, said on Wednesday it would postpone the resumption of flight to and from China for “technical restrictions.”

“EgyptAir will suspend flights scheduled from Feb. 27 to March 14 to and from China with airline route Cairo-Beijing-Guangzhou and Guangzhou-Beijing-Cairo due to technical restrictions,” the national airline said in a statement.

It called on the passengers affected by the cancellation of flights to contact relevant agency for refund or rescheduling.

EgyptAir announced on Thursday it would resume a weekly flight to and from China starting from Feb. 27.

The company has suspended all flights to China on Feb. 4 over the COVID-19 outbreak. Enditem
