Reverend Eric Aidoo, Head Pastor of the Unity and Love Assembly of God, Pakyi, has called on elderly men to respect grey hair and avoid dying them.

The Minister of God urged them to see grey hair as a privilege and focus on being role models to the young and not to jeopardise their future.

In a sermon, Reverend Aidoo quoted Proverbs 20:29 which states that …”grey hair is the splendor of the old.” and therefore advised such men to concentrate on helping to hand over the good morals of the society to the new members to make them useful in society.

Reverend Aidoo denounced neglecting girls after impregnating in the course of their illegitimate relationships.
On the same Proverbs 20:29, which says that “the glory of young men is their strength,” the Pastor charged men and especially young men not to engage in illegal sex that resulted in children that became burdens on the society.

He said because their fathers refused to take care of them they also grow to become irresponsible citizens and it was high time men took back their responsibilities as heads of the family, the way God made them as Christ was also the head of the Church.

He charged them to get their own wives, treat their wives with dignity and be responsible fathers.

Again, the Pastor encouraged men to avoid having multiple sex partners, go for regular medical checkups, plan their lives and make good use of every resources God endowed them with.

The Minister, on the other hand, appealed to women to support their husbands raise their children and desist from “poisoning,” the minds of their children against them.
